JANUARY 2009. LAST DAY OF OUR INAUGURATION VACATION. We spent our last day in Washington visiting the National Zoo. it was a lovely clear day, and we enjoyed watching the pandas Mei Xian, and her baby, Tian Tian.

Our good fortune provided us with a chance for photo op of the first public appearance of the sweet baby gorilla...just two weeks old~! If you want to see more of the zoo, please click the link: http://picasaweb.google.com/PeaceMealGarden/InaugurationVacationDay5##

January 2009 Another sad day for us. The life of our dear friend Buddha, came to an end. These are the last few images that we have, taken during his final days. Craig Robinson took the last one. http://www.flipflopflying.com

I will put together a tribute of Buddha's long adventurous lifetime. I'm trying to get some puppy photos from his childhood, in Houston, Texas. His story will be told here soon. Buddha was a special soul...confirmed by all who knew him.

New Year's Day 2009...Tragedy at the Estacada Public Library. Wade Creek floods, filling our new library with nearly a foot of water. Everything on the two lower shelves was destroyed. these are photos taken moments after the water drained out.
