My Photo
Location: The Oregon Cascades, near PDX, United States

Our home in the Oregon Cascades, provides us with peaceful days, and star-filled nights. We are grateful for fresh air, clean water, and enough space for our garden.

More than sixteen monuments were found in the stela plaza at Nim Li Punit.

In the first photo you can see the wall behind the monument that has not yet been to enlarge! The next two shots show how the sites look after the archeologists have done their work!

The final picture shows the Mayan girls who sell crafts at every possible tourist location in Belize! Today, it was clear that they were all waiting for us to leave! They were taking turns creeping around the ruins, peeking around things to see where we were...then giggling, of course! We were the only visitors in Nim Li Punit on this lovely Sunday morning!

Kraig bought one thing from each of the vendors, to make their day worthwhile... and we also gave them a ride home in our car...all five piled into the back seat of the Tracker!
