Eventually the skies cleared...

We were blessed with two full weeks of beautiful October weather, but the days are growing very short here in the Pacific Northwest.

October Rain.

After our cool summer, we were not too excited about two weeks of rain. Early October is usually one of the most beautiful times around here. At least we were able to burn off our bonfire without risk of starting a fire!

San Ignacio Belize - Travel Information for San Ignacio and Cayo District, Belize

San Ignacio Belize - Travel Information for San Ignacio and Cayo District, Belize

Quite a few folks have been asking us about our plans to spend our winters in Belize, and to eventually retire there. A few more have expressed interest in San Ignacio, as a place to visit, so I'm posting this link!

Our friends Ron and Karen left Florida yesterday, for a trial year in Belize, with their two small boys, (and their two cats)!

Our friend Larry has already moved there...(with his dog, Tasha!) Larry is developing an adventure camp that will be up and running very soon. I'll post more links when things get going!

I'll have some new photos of the garden over the week-end...so dream of Belize, and check back with the blog in a couple of days!
