Duck's tracks, and frosty scenes along the Bull Run...

These drops of ice have been formed by vegitation that dips into the Sandy River. We walk along the Sandy and Bull Run rivers every week-end, at Dodge Park, and we have never seen this before! They look much better than these photos show!

MORE ICE ART

Our crab apple tree sustained an entire flock of varied thrush...we counted as many as 30 birds feasting at one time! By the time the snow and ice melted, every crab apple was gone! These photos were taken from our front porch! Don't forget to click on the pictures to enlarge...

Three good dogs go to celebrate Christmas at Grandma's house! Captain Nemo, AnnaBelle, and Miss Flora enjoyed the holidays. We hope that you did, too! Bright Blessings for the New Year! Posted by Picasa

Sunrise from our front porch on Christmas morning...the garden in winter, and some things we saw in the park, while walking with the dogs! Don't forget to click to enlarge the photographs!

Winter Solstice. The sun goes down very early on the Longest Night. We love to wrap gifts for others, and decorate our tree, while we wait for the sun to return on the first day of Winter!

Blessed Be.
